If you just purchased a T-Mobile G2x phone, you may have been shocked when you realized that it does not have an LED light for notifications! It is hard to believe that such an expensive and powerful phone lacks a basic usability function like this. Luckily, there is an app called NoLED that will help resolve this problem. This is a FREE app that is completely customizable! Go ahead and give NoLED a try!

Here are a couple of screenshots of the app:

    Hi,
Just downloaded this app on my new G2X. However, for “emails” it only seems to give me notifications for my gmail email, which I never use. I have a pop account through outlook, which is what I need to get notifications on. Can I change something in settings for this to work?

    Thanks!

As far as I can tell, you cannot create notifications for non-Gmail accounts.
